- This company is efficient and conscientious. The team led by Junior made this the smoothest move we have ever experienced. Hussein, who coordinated the move and came out to give the estimate, was both helpful and informative. In assessing pre-existing damages one member of the team noted a tear on our sofa, damage caused by a sloppy moving company also on Home Stars web site. We left the appropriate review for them. - Had a very positive overall experience with Rent-a-son. Chose them as our mover based on high Homestars and BBB ratings. In the end, based on lots of prework, our move came in 1 hour less than the quote with no surprise costs. I don't see how it could have been done faster without cutting lots of corners. The team worked at a very fast pace and at times were even running back to the house to get another load. Hussein, the sales rep, was great to deal with and very personable - followup call the day after the move. All of the guys on the move team were very polite, helpful and made us feel comfortable with our stuff. All of our family and neighbours were very impressed with the blue shirted team of 'sons'. - My sister and I have moved over five times in the last 20 years and have always had problems with whoever we hired. I read Rent-a-Son's moving reviews and contacted them for a quote. Three men showed up for my move on time and took complete control, carefully wrapping all furniture that required it, and moving everything into the truck in record time, always smiling and cheerful. Unloading at the other end went just as smoothly. I couldn't believe how stress-free the day was. My sister was so impressed that she called and asked if the same crew could do her move two days later.
